So this is a super short post long over-due this summer. I started this blog when all my kids were in school and I had a rough schedule mapped out. Once summer started I quickly realized how difficult it was to try and manage writing with all the kids home and having my whole schedule revolve around their summer activites. On top of that the whole family, including me, became very sick for a couple of weeks and then we had a vacation and then a suprise vacation.

Basically all this is to say I vastly underestimated what I would be able to do over the summer and ended up completly neglecting my blog. I apologize to any who have been following. It has also thrown into stark relief how hopefull my origional schedule was and what I am probably actually capable of going forward.

So, starting Aug. 14th the kids will be back in school and I will have both a more stable schedule and more time to myself. I will start posting again, however I will be altering my post schedule moving forward to make things a littl easier for myself and so I don’t have to stress as much about unforseen road blocks.

I will be dedicating myself to making sure I post twice a month. This will either be one writing practice with a gem post or two writing practices. On good month’s I will challenge myself to do three posts. I am hoping that if I can get in the habit of doing two posts it will become easier to do at least three every month in the future. I still wish to do a about writing section but as I started to approach writing such a post I realized that I wish to do a deeper delve into brushing up on how to write and writing art forms and will be doing some deeper reading and research in order to do such posts in the future.
